Hello fellow tt.net'ers, I come to you for help! This is probably a very simple problem but I have no clue what is going on. I have been having a few problems related to the battery (I think), and here are some things I have noticed: 1) Sometimes, when I turn the steering wheel full lock, the Z will completely shut down, and I would have to turn the key to start the car again. 2) Sometimes, when I tap on the brake pedal, the electronics (lights, music etc.) will shut down momentarily, and then turn on again. 3) Sometimes, when I put my key in the ignition, and turn it once (as if I am performing an ECU Diagnostics), everything will just turn off, and I will be unable to start the car. The only way I have been able to start the car when this happens is to manually lock the doors, get out, pop the hood open, unplug the battery, plug it back in, wait a few minutes, and then unlock the car and try to restart it. I say sometimes because this problem has been intermittent - it would occur maybe one out of the ten times I would be driving. However, it has been happening more frequently now, so I think it is time I get to the bottom of this. FYI, I have an Optima Yellow Top battery that is fairly new. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
