I don't think its the transmission. Its definitely the clutch slipping. And you probably just need to replace the clutch, But if you feel any pressure building up in the clutch petal after the car gets to operating temp then your clutch is ok and you just need to adjust the master cylinder so the expanding fluid can go back into it instead of pushing on the slave cyl. If your car is doing that you would feel the play in the petal getting less and less as the car gets hotter. So it's real noticable. I like the RPS Max 6 puck clutch Its not too stiff and it holds great for over 500 hp. Its what I have now and it's very streetable in my opinion. What's good depends on how much hp you have or plan on having.
