| I brainstormed with a buddy of mine and he recommended that with my track intentions I'd be best to drop the stock tank and go with a fuel cell. I've done some research on cells myself and also applications people on here have done, but I can't find anything definitive on the subject. Here's my dilemma: I'm pulling out the hatch floor at the weld seams and was thinking of planting a 15-20 gal. tank inset into a new hatch floor and forward of the spare tire area up against the hump where the old tank is. My questions: - Will I upset the weight balance too much by placing the cell just behind the rear axle? - Will I have better success at achieving a better front/back weight split? I know I'll need a cell with vanes that go both directions to combat weight transfer in all directions since it's an SCCA build. I'm just hazy on the technical application of the deal.
