| :answers may be difficult. What prices have you found for the stock radiator and what jobbers did you use? Here is an update... I've been working out a plan with members of the other forum and the long of the short of it is that I'm probably going to go with the following: Flex-a-lite fan controller- [ http://www.amazon.com/Flex---lite-31165-Variable-Control/dp/B000CNN3LS/ref=sr_1_7?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1309722026&sr=1-7 ] Maxima Fans- [ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Brand-New-Radiator-Cooling-Fan-Assembly-V6-3-0-/400207454748?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d2e39221c ] Radiator- [ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Brand-New-2-Row-All-Aluminum-Radiator-V6-3-0-/400207456392?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d2e392888 ] Total cost is about $240 I'm thinking that it isn't worth all of the time and effort required to get the stock clutch fan setup working with this much deeper radiator. If I go with a set of Maxima fans, at least I will be guaranteed that everything will bolt up well. The only trouble will come from wiring everything up... at least theoretically. 2 benefits of this setup are that I will save a couple hp by keeping the fans from turning when I am cruising at high speeds and the space gained in my engine bay will allow me to work on my engine more easily. What do you think?
