could be due to anything from the oil pressure sensor,sending unit, wiring/connector, or even (have only seen this once) bad gauge cluster, along with many others but start w the easier stuff. Also, im pretty sure that low oil pressure is sign of spun bearing in the rotating assembly, but u would usually notice because of knocking. This is all based of personal experience over a broad range of vehicles so research more before tearing into anything to serious. I have seen lots of post regarding this where the Z gurus have posted their .02cents and would definately see what they had to say.
