Message I'm pulling my motor this weekend in an attempt to look at a suspect turbo leaking oil.

It's a year old Stage 3 long block with slightly over 3,000 miles accumulated.

Conducted two DYNO sessions for proper tuning.

Recently, I did a compression test prior to the May 2011 NEDYNO (Specialty Z Team et al)and all measurements were b/t 139-142.

Does this seem low?

I'd like a fresh start but refuse to give up my motor as it has JWT cams, ARP studs, forged pistons, etc.

It was built to withstand up to 1000hp.

Is there such a thing for a machine shop to just refresh my motor? (i.e. clean it thoroughly and put everything back together)

Or do I need to drop more loot on another rebuild. :(

Is there anything to gain by doing this?

Any options at a fraction of the cost?

Would like to know if I should just remove the parts clean them up and put it back together as the cost effective solution.

To my knowledge, there is no engine damage and the motor runs rather mean and aggressive.

My goal is to have an engine built/rebuilt with reliability, longevity, and increased torque.

Thoughts and recommendations are welcome.
