Message	most people put several ounces of ester oil on top of the existing mineral oil, which isn't ideal some people properly flush the mineral oil out and replace with a R134a compatible lubricant. As far as hardware is concerned, you may already have the R-134a spec condenser, which started appearing in 1993. The TSV is set for R-12, unless the previous owner gutted it.
