cars (back in 2003 when I bought mine), I had a couple injectors fail, so I replaced all 6 with new OEM ones. About 2-3 years later, the new ones started to fail. I have sinced probably replaced all 6 "new" ones over the course of those 8 years. I have only put about 25k miles on the car in that time. I would say it's not really the number of miles you will get, it's more about the length of time you will get out of them. The ethanol in the fuel, coupled with constant power to the injector coils is the current theory as to why they fail so prematurely. If I knew about this back in 2003, I would have upgraded to 740's or at least the new style ones. I've been buying used OEM ones for the last few years as the old ones fail. I must say, it's a major hassle that I wish I could have avoided. I'm looking forward to putting in the 740's, I'm just not ready to drop $1200 on them quite yet (but soon enough). Every time the car starts to run a bit rough, the fuel injectors are the first things I check. Almost every time, that's been the problem.
