Well, I'm guessing it's related. I went back out, after leaving battery disconnected with hood DOWN for about 20 mins, and reconnected. No alarm, car started fine. Like an idiot, I then pushed the hood switch just to see what it would do, and the alarms started all over again. SO does the hood switch have to remain depressed for a cetian period of time before I can reconnect battery? Or is all this some sort of idiotic coincidence?
