I have a 1990 300ZX that I bought new in 1989. It has 180,000 miles on it and has not been my daily driver for a number of years. I may only put 400 to 500 miles a year on it. It still runs like the day I got it! I had to have my AC serviced because it has developed a small leak in the compressor and discharge hose. The AC guy said that I really need to use it more often so that the seals don't degrade anymore. My question is...what if I start up the car every weekend and run it with the AC on full blast for 15 minutes at a time. It is in my garage so there is no concern of overheating out in the bright sun (obviously with the garage door up). Will that be enough time each week to help the AC and properly protect the seals?
If it's broke, try to fix it...what's the worst that could happen...IT'S ALREADY BROKEN!
