Hello everyone this is my first post and its about my second zx A/C my ac didnt hold a charge so i took it to a mechanic to find what the problem was??? and they said it was a leak in the high pressure hose off of the compressor,,, which they said its like 150 buck plus 300 to install plus the refrigerant 75 bucks for a whooping total of 525 bucks for a leak????? boy oh boy. so I looked on ebay and bought the hose for like 35 bucks and cut the old one out (almost done) and before I can even try to install the new one does anybody has a guide or how to remove the a/c lines off of the compressor??(I have looked all over this forum and google and I trully think I m about to be the first one to do this!!!) I notice the low pressure line its easy by only unscrewing the big 18 or 19 nut and the little 10-12mm nut of the compresor now the high press line that goes from the compressor to the top of the condenser its the part i cant get the line out and even if i cut it out of the way how am i suposed to install the new line in??? by the way I live in florida so u can imagine how annoying things are getting lol,,,, anyone with the time and patience to respond its greatly apreciated.
