| Here's a list of symptoms. While headed home from work Hicas light and BRAKE light came on and power steering went out as I pulled into my driveway. All of this was within 100 yards of the lights coming on. I parked the Z, and turned it off and went to restart it. The HICAS light flashed a couple of times and I had rough idle. I turned the car off. I went to start it again and it wouldn't turn over. Voltage reading with car on key at Accessory was only 9V. I hooked the car up to my battery butler for three days. Voltage is now 12V. The car starts up and runs fine with no warning lights, but I noticed the voltage while running is from 11.3-12V depending on what accessories I turn on. The more I put on the lower it gets. I'm thinking my alternator is the problem but wanted some second opinions before I start working on anything or take it anywhere else. (I went to the Autozone near my house and they don't do the testing. I'm thinking they may only check voltage anyway so if you know otherwise please confirm and I may risk driving to a further location.) Thanks for any input.
