Message Some people have reported the engine idling at 1000rpm.. probably not that big of deal. But you might have some other things going on causing it to idle that high.

I would first check for codes. I would also ohm all your injectors if you are suspecting a miss. Beyond that, I would suspect your IACV/AAC is dirty, bad, or stuck causing high idle. Could also need to set your base idle to 750, might be off. You could also have some boost leaks or vacuum leaks somewhere, which is typical.

Don't cut the exhaust. What is this the backwoods or something? This is no 87 Toyota 4x4 pickup.
