| Hey everyone. I pulled my plenum because i had a mean vacuum leak. i didn't do a boost leak test because i wanted to just replace all of the hoses i can get to. so along with this plenum pull i replaced: -many vacuum hoses -pcv valves -pcv hoses -new manifold gasket -new egr gaskets some issues i caused/found: -i stripped one screw on the passanger side egr -found the hard intake pipes quite loose...(i realized it was loose right after putting the plenum back on. it seemed too far to get to anyways so i thought maybe it's possible to tighten from under the car?) -one bolt that tightens the plenum down isn't going in it's hole. -ground wire locations...i have 3 connected, but 2 are on the same location, is this okay? -all connecters (i don't know exactly what they're called) are missing their pins to hold them in tightly. a white one located in the back of the plenum, along with a yellow one. SO, yes that's a decent list of possible reasons why it's not starting. the thing is though, those connectors have been missing their pins for a while. even before winter when i was DD'ing my Z every day without any problems. it all started after taking it out for the first time after it sitting in winter. i went WOT and then it started dying. the rpm's would drop and eventually die unless i gave it gas. before this plenum pull, it'd start up fine, but would die 20 seconds if no gas was given. thanks a lot everyone for looking. any suggestions on what i should hit first would be great. my thought is if it WERE a leak somewhere...wouldn't the car at least start? then eventually die like it did before this plenum pull? it cranks, but just isn't starting. isn't the starter because i replaced it 2 months ago. just 6 days ago it was starting. i'm leaning towards the ground wires maybe...i have no idea if they need to be in a certain location. thanks again
