Ran out of gas coming home from work on Friday. Keep in mind I have never tested out the max range I could actually get. Judging by how many gallons it typically takes to fill my tank when gauge reaches E (~12 to 13 gallons) and the traveled mileage ~260 I figured I could push it further since this car is supposed to have a 19 gallon tank. I was wrong. Ran out of gas at 295 miles, strange thing is that it only took ~14 gallons to fill it. What happened to the other 5 gallons?
