Subject	valve covers

Message	underneath one of my valve covers i noticed that the 90 degree angled plastic oil squirters (or whatever it is) are broken. I am guessing this is what directs oil for the cam and deflects the rest for crank case ventilation. Does this impact the motor? or will oil enough oil still reach the cam? I noticed the passanger side exhaust valve cover has none of these. Or are these strictly for crank case vents and does not effect performance?
