When I bought the car, I took it to the shop and it seated there for almost a year, so I don't know if cooling problem were prior to paid some upgrades; 740cc injectors, JWT ECU tune w/ Injectors w/ jets, JWT double ram air, Z1 exhaust system test pipes, downpipes,etc. I did a 120K tune on it (water pump included). That was in San Antonio, TX. I moved to Laredo, TX (across MX), is hotter like for 15 degrees of a difference. I haven't upgrade my cooling system, except for a HOWE radiator, that the vehicle already had, is not in new conditions. I replaced the water hoses with silicone ones. I noticed the vehicle overheats from my house to work, is not even a 20 minutes drive. So, am Lost and in need of help?!!.. I test the thermostat and it opens, not quick but opens, so I do not know if to buy a NISMO T-stat!. The fan has several cracks through the base, and the fan clutch seems good, not lose. Some people from work have recommended me to install electrical fan, but I don't find a complete support in the tech forum as to do this!. Any and all help, opinion, comments will be greatly appreciated. Note: I believe I have some vacuum/boost leak. My factory gauge doesn't work, and I don't have and aftermarket one. Yes, I'm an idiot...cause of that! I don't know if this could affect or help to the overheat issue. I thought to run the car without a thermostat; good or bad idea? I'm not too much of a DIY, I'm in a learning process with this car, so once again, any help will be appreciated! thanks.
