I am going though the process of changing out a dead injector on my 92 TT. I am using the process outlined by I think DallasDamonZ in the tech section. It lists at the beginning that it would be a good time, with the plenum off, to do "....throttle body water jacket bypass, safety boost cut solenoid removal, plenum exchange, throttle body replacement". Would someone explain why? I have had my Z since 97 and drive it just for the pleasure of it. I am not interested in anything more than stock performance, but would be interested in fixing any trouble makers. I am at 112k miles and will soon be doing the 120k service also.
