| I know here locally. Is your gas cap screwed on tight, past a few clicks? As for the E8 code, that is a "sensor timing error" and is usually due to a damaged sensor. The cause could be from the sensor overheating. You may as well remove the sensor and do a calibration again. Failing that, the sensor might be shot and need to be replaced. However, if these are at all related issues, maybe the car is running too lean for some reason and the EGTs are higher causing issues... Can't say for sure.
