| Since my new IPP engine install I have had high oil pressure and want to know if this is normal. I have both an Autometer electric oil pressure gauge in cabin and the stock sender hooked up. I also have a filter sandwich adapter installed and z1 oil cooler/lines. Its a 1991 and holds around 4.75 quarts of oil now. I am using Pennzoil 15-40 conventional oil and a Purolator pure one filter. At start up the AM gauge pegs and the stock on is between the 90 and 120. Once warmed up the AM gauge sits at 35 psi and stock up below the 30 mark. When cursing 60 mph at 2500 rpms the stock on is between 60 and 90 and the AM one reads 75. If I rev or boost at all the AM pegs and stock one shoots up past 90 hash mark.
