I ended up trouble shooting *everything* possible, and stupid me checked the fuel pressure as the last thing. I rigged it up with a generic auto parts store E.F.I. /hose and gauge kit/, connected it to the(post) fuel filter line, snaked it to my windshield and zip tied it to the driver's wiper(shut the hood onto the F.I. hose). While driving, under load, it would run perfectly normal until 4k rpm or ~10 psi of boost, but then the hesitating/bucking/etc. began as the fuel pressure immediately dropped to about 25 psi. It was very severe, but was able to run seemingly very well in the lower rpm/boost range. Tracked it down to the fuel pump and replaced it myself. It's easy to get to the fuel pump and you must swap the factory FP housing over to the new one. Just a note: the petrol smell will make you delirious...?!
