Subject	outer tie rod removal - sledge hammer method???

Message	I saw some videos and read on the forum that many people swear by the sledge hammer method. So, I took a 3 lb sledge and gave the tie rod knuckle a good whack or two just like people have recommended, but the tie rod remains in the assembly not having budged.
