added to the pool here. The reason I posted was to caution the overextension of modeling... in the end empiricism is king. Modeling at any level is a great way to get to a good solution faster but in the end testing will tell you if your assumptions are grounded. Personally I love modeling and use it heavily but its important to not loose sight of the possibility of diverging from real conditions. From what I gather a few members here have demonstrated that increasing valve size allows for changes that net power.
