I just swapped my 90 na with a jspec motor,trans, and ecu... I tested the ecu in another tt so i know thats good.. and i put a 92 tt efi harness in my car, and got a 5spd alternator harness locally. after the swap first thing i noticed was there were 2 clips on the back of the trans that did not match the alternator harness... i heard you can cut the grey clip off the alternator harness that doesnt match up with the one on the trans, and splice the wires together, so that the car will start. I tried that and it did not work... I have a security light that is blinking and clicking when key is in on position... i dunno if that has anything to do with it, but basically everything is hooked up properly with the swap accept the two clips on the back of the trans, and one clip behind the passenger headlight, that doesnt fit because i think the car was an automatic before i got the car to swap it... anyways everything is working electrical in the car, and the fuel pump is priming, so if i could get the car to crank then it would definitely start! but something electrical is preventing me from doing so... Anyone know what i can do to get this thing started??
