| I have a 1990 300zx with less the 50k on the odometer. I had a round of upgrades done to the car and it was running strong. Intermittently the car wouldn't start. I would press the clutch in, turn the key, but the starter would not engage. All the dash lights came on and the battery is fine, but the starter wouldn't spin the motor. Usually I could take the key out and try again...reinsert the key, push in the clutch, and the car would turn over. Could it be the sensor for the clutch override is going bad? I.E. the car thinks the clutch is still out even though it's pressed to the floor. I find it interesting that the car would start intermittently and now won't start at all.
