90 300zx twin turbo, car will not start. lights work fine but it will not even crank, just get clicks. one morning i went to head to work and it would not start. i had it taken to a shop and they determined it was the battery, they put a new one in and it started right up. then a few weeks later same thing, car will not start just out of the blue. Battery is brand new checked it again and it is full charge, new terminal connectors put on, starter tested fine, checked fuses look fine, its a canadian z so there is no starter relay and yes i did check. i was getting a code 11 but i cleaned the connection and then she was all good 55. if the problem was the ptu or the cas the car would atleast crank but not start or is that incorrect. ive spent over 5 grand in two years just maintaining this car and i dont wanna get hit with more shop bills if at all possible for a little while anyway. i believe the problem has something to do with the starter not getting any power or it has a bad connection somewhere. im gonna get under it tomorrow and see what i can do but i would appreciate some input. my car has always been able to start without pushing in the clutch so i do not believe a clutch safety switch is the issue. i also have tried with the factory alarm in and out of the car. i find it strange that a car can be driving fine, you run into a store for 5 minutes and then it will not start when you try to leave! anyway sorry for the long post and thanks for any input that may help! thanks!
