| there is a possibility.. However.. Just don't take it to a razors edge on tuning. If you get a standard chip for the 555s.. It should be okay.. Keep the boost around 15psi max until you get new reliable injectors. I would just invest into some downpipes and test pipes.. if ur on stock turbos for now.. get somthing like Megan racing.. they aren't the best .. but only like $100 for DP and TP combo. They will make terrific gains compared to stock setup. You won't even feel the need to get it finely tuned, for a while atleast. When you upgrade turbos,, thats when you should get the SZ expansion pipes etc.. in 3". Then you should have it finely tuned for the street etc. Tuning, especially with ignition timing... can make incredible gains.. but is not somthing to play around with... you can blow a motor in a heart beat. I have done basic "street tunes" on several cars with an AFC... but mainly just being very conservative using a wideband 02 setups.. and leaving ignition timing at stock. Just cleaning up the top end and low rpm tables a bit. Just to get them running a little smoother etc. I would also consider running dual widebands and dual EGTs on the Z.. You can easily diagnose any problems right away with those installed. boost/vacuum leaks etc.
