So here's the deal:You MUST use the "20" setting to get the correct resolution. When the meter reads "1", that actually means the reading is out of range. (So, if the resistance is 25, and your setting is "20", it will read "1" until you switch it to a higher setting like "200".) If your setting was "2000" and still read 1,.. you're boned. Actually, your reading should be between 10-14ohms, anything higher is not good, anything higher than 20 is so far out of range you should just replace it on GP. CLEAN the connector first, THEN test. (dirt/corrosion will have a big impact when the good range is such a small number! 4 ohms is basically nothing.)
