| Was when I was running my 17" rear on one side.. and my stocker TT rear on the other.. The overall diameter was different and I was forced to drive around like that due to the time shipping of my new 17" tire etc. It caused the half shaft "C" clip to become un-seated.. caused a little leakage of the rear gear oil. I easily got it re-seated when I noticed it. I doubt a little difference in tire wear will cause it though.. Also, I still drove the car pretty hard with the different sized tires.. I didnt even think of them having different sizes at the time.
