| I picked up the motor for super cheap and decided that the stock transmission in the Z would be more than capable of handling the power. For me it was more of a cost thing than anything else. I had a friend help me with getting the plate made and had to make a spacer for the flywheel as well as custom M11 bolts. The flywheel itself is a stock one from a LS1 powered car that we turned down and fit the TT ring gear to. The project at this point just needs the driveshaft shortened and to finish up the wiring (this is where I am trying to figure out what the plug goes to, I've rerouted alot of the chassis wiring in the front and have eliminated a good deal of uneeded wires as well). I didn't have to cut the firewall which was a big plus for me.
