so my z (93 NA 2+2) has been misfiring for a few months, i recently saved up enough money to swap out my injectors, but my car still runs the exact same as before and now it has idling issues. my mechanic thinks it might be the MAF but im not trying to drop the money on a new one unless i know it's the culprit. so can anyone help? the issue is, it fires up (cold start) and idles real low (~.5k rpms), when it warms up it idles high (around 1.5k rpms), when i take off, it runs through the first set of gears smooth, i come to a light, take off and the misfiring starts, and then it will bust out and fire properly (or atleast better) once i get to about 4-5k rpms. all the injectors click and ohm, my mechanic tested the compression and two cylinders are running borderline at 140psi, im not sure about the others. (has 198k miles on it, i was told the engine was rebuilt 60k ago, but as i get deeper into the engine, i come to question that statement) i planned on borrowing a fellow z32 owner's MAF to see if thats the problem but he is having the same issues as me. any thoughts on what it may be/some trouble shooting links?
