Message	a car that you cant verify is running is usually a good sign to just walk away. ... lost key and missing ecu sounds like hes just trying to sell you a big pile of problems, if it runs, it probably runs like crap. if he has a TITLE IN HAND, offer to buy it off him for scrap, and use it as a donor car.
