Removed valves from the driver's head, found a broken valve guide. It's the second intake valve on cylinder 2, I believe (first one on driver's side, closest to front of car). No (obvious) evidence of damage to the valve itself; doesn't look* bent, easily slid out in my hands. None seemingly to the piston top, either; piston evenly covered in carbon, doesn't seem they hit. 

Any thoughts on the cause? Just extreme wear? Bent valve? Something else? Should I just pull and replace? (if so, I would do all of them, probably with the bronze ones from Z1) Have valves checked? Just get new heads/valve job from Z1? <---would really like to but if it isn't necessary I can't justify the cash. TIA for the suggestions!
