| so i have an extra speedo guage that has the km/h that i want to install in my current gauge which is in mph. The km/h gauge is known to be faulty having wierd issues. My mph gauge is perfect. That being said I ripped out the needle of the km/h gauge and took the heat gun and removed the gauges km/h readings faceplate. My question is if i remove my mph needle out the same way (twist it until it no longer budges and then twist and turn the needle off.) remove the backing plate with mph readings on it, install (glue) the km/h plate on it and put the needle back in... will that ruin my mph gauge? I believe i'll ruin the calibration for the mph by doing that. How do you calibrate it?
