Message pin 28, and black lead to body ground. I got a reading of 113.5.

I also tried the red lead on pin 30 and black lead to body ground and got 88.7. I then went to the coolant temp connector and did the following:

-Red lead to one wire(28) of the connector, and the black lead to body ground. I got 113.8.

-Red lead to other wire(30) of coolant connector, and the black lead to body ground. I got 89.2

Now what I did above, according to step 7, I have a closed condition which means something is touching the wire creating a loop, right? I still have to try the

What I don't understand is where did you get the TPS from? Is that what the "a" looking symbol represents in the service manual? Or is pin 60 the TPS wire? I really appreciate you helping me out on this.
