Hey, so i have an automatic 91 NA and ive been having problems with the transmission. everything is stock on the car so far. the problem occurs when im driving say at 60, then i want to accelerate quickly so i press the pedal hard and i expect it to shift down and go... instead it feels like the car is in neutral and the revs shoot up to 7000 redline. if i take my foot off the pedal the car settles down and switches gears slowly. if i keep it at 7000 then eventually after a few seconds it catches the gears and goes like hell. i've had the transmission rebuilt along with the torque converter and the problem hasn't gone away. Does anyone know of such a problem or what it could be? Thanks in advance, i know this is a long post.
