It's hard to get reliable advice when you don't give consistent information. ... You can go to 740's (do not for any reason go to 555's, there is not one advantage to them over 740's) any time, from stock turbos to big turbos, without any disadvantages. If you stay close to your present setup, your new 370's will be OK until they fail due to ethanol, which could be soon or could be in a few years. If you would like to "get the most out of the stock turbos", then search to see how to do that. Some newer mods are getting great hp. Even with stock turbos, if you do a lot of upgrades, you will need larger injectors.
