Message know the past service history of your 300? Timing belts generally get replaced at 60K per the manual. Some have gone longer? When inspected the belt usually looks great except where it breaks. Suggest you do the 120K service on the belt and components. There is a link here for the How To. Read up on the procedure if you are a DIY'er.
