Subject	Timing Belt Tensioner Problem

Message	Hi guys, I am new to this forum, I sold my mustang and got into a 1992 300zx. I already have a question about a possible problem with the timing belt tensioner. Everytime I hit around 3k RPM's I think the belt is slapping the case or something. There is a clacking noise but it is only between 2.5k-3k rpm's. Can I just replace the tensioner pulley spring?
