Appreciate folks taking the time to provide some additional insight. Yes, I followed the FSM to the letter - with exception to pulling the fuel pump relay, to get the numbers posted. Really dissappointed with a JDM motor that vendor says has passed compression check - borders on false advertising. When asked how they check compression they said by hotwiring the starter - out of car. Not sure how that could be close to reality on a "cold" engine. Conversely, funny how the numbers change on a "slightly warm" engine versus one that's hot... the joys of Z ownership.
