Message	When my starter relay went out I could bump-start it every time. Did you try using the key in the door and "double-unlocking" it? It's possible the alarm is stopping you arbitrarily. If not, let us know how the direct connect works out. Be careful, lotsa stuff to short around there. I've never done that personally, so ask those who have for specificity.
