Message Well today during my lunch break I thought it would be a great idea to fix my antenna issue since it was now stuck up.

For some background, I was planning on doing this mod [ http://www.zmods.org/index.php?page=antenna ] , and cutting the auto power wire to the antenna.

I was looking for the original antenna plug when I discovered that it had been cut. There are 2 wires that go into it, one, big, for the antenna mast, one smaller, for the back window antenna (I think).

Basically my window antenna was still connected to the plug, and the plug was just dangling connected to nothing-- My mast antenna had been cut from the plug and spliced into my stereo receiver wire.

So I cut the window antenna wire from the plug as I considered the plug to be now useless, and it was at this time that I discovered that antenna wires are copper, wrapped around foam insulation, wrapped around a tiny single wire in the middle.

So I just want to make sure that what I am planning on doing is Ok. I plan on wiring all of the little center wires together, and wiring all the exterior copper wires together. This way it fuses my antenna mast and my window antenna into the singular wire that goes into my head unit.

Any tips on connecting those tiny wires besides soldering right in the middle of my dash? Any little connectors I can buy for single, tiny wires?
