| It doesn't take much force with a hammer etc to take the tie rod off. Then just mark it and take the end off, then remove old boot, slide new on. replace tie rod to where you marked it. I dont know if you would have enough room if you just tried to removed the outer tie rod without taken it off the suspension arm.
