stupid tire shops or other service stations over the years have ruined the whole rocker panel on my car. throughout the middle section, i periodically get the channel locks out and do some work on the damage. but i ran into a problem when i tried to adjust my door hinge recently. the bead or lip or whatever where the fender bolts at the bottom is so boogered up that i can't grab it with anything, get a screwdriver under it, or much less get a socket on the bolts that hold the bottom of the fender down, which, by the way, are bent. has anybody dealt with this? should i heat it? it's one of those things that i just can't think of any solution whatsoever for.
