Message I looked over as many tech post I could find on this, found a few things here and there but nothing concrete.

I de-vaned the back side of my TT PS pump, by taking 4 bolts on back cover off. Then by removing the round ?gear? that holds the vanes in. I only removed the back one closest to the rear cover, after reading that is the Hicas part of the pump.

I also removed the spring and piston from the oriface banjo bolt.

So my question is, since I'm completely removing hicas from the car can I just plug the hole from the Orifaced banjo bolt? (where the piston and spring was)
Meaning, instead of using the orifaced banjo bolt can I use a normal bolt??

Then cap the remaining reservoir tube?

If that part the of ps pump has been de-vaned, I would assume that means there is no pressure being built so to tie it back into the reservoir with the pre-existing ps hose would seem pointless.
