| OK I am in the process of installing the Powertrix Front Strut Tower Bar on my Z and just wanted to clarify a few things. I have searched around the forums a bit and found a few hints but still unsure about a few things. So far I have: 1) Removed metal "L" bracket for AC line on passenger side. It left behind a small layer of metal where I pried it off. Is this an issue? Does it need to be sanded down? I am thinking not since both sides have an additional metal bracket in front that the base of the strut bar will be laying on. 2) Cleaned the black goo off the top of both strut towers. 3) Verified clearance for my modified fuel line layout due to 300 Degree Fuel Rail installation. It sounds like it is NOT necessary to jack the front of the car up to preload the suspension prior to installing the strut tower bar. So I should install it with the wheels on flat ground. Is there a particular order in which I should remove the existing bolts and likewise a particular order in which I should tighten them once the strut tower bar is in place? My understanding is that the bolts should be tightened to approximately 30 ft. lb. --Thanks!
