| FYI, Search in progress.. I reversed polarity on my battery a few days ago for ~3 seconds. Now the door ajar light fades in and out based on dome light and map light position. If dome light is set to auto, door ajar light fades out as dome light would. If map light is in On position, door ajar light is on, but dim. If a door is opened, the door ajar light becomes bright red, as it should. Map light will come on for a split second as I flip the switch, but does not stay on. If i disconnect both map and dome lights, door ajar light stays on but dim. I'm searching and reading in hopes to solve this myself but any ideas are much appreciated. I've checked all fusible links and fuses.. didnt notice any problems at first but maybe i should check again. sounds more like I've shorted out something somehwere..
