Message	DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1 are ok to "mix." The only problem you will encounter is if you try mixing DOT 5, which is silicone-based, with any of the above. It will react and turn to foam. The trace amounts of DOT 3 left in your system after a thorough flush/bleeding with whatever you are switching to (I'm assuming DOT 4) will be negligable and you shouldn't notice any negative side-effects. If you're really concerned about it though, you could go the extra mile and flush the entire system with denatured alcohol to eliminate any traces of the old fluid... ------------------------- Wide open until you see God, then brake.
