Subject	Automatic climate control 90?

Message	I was driving the car a few days ago and noticed air was not comming from the center vents only the defrost vents, after reading I decided to run the diagnostic in which every thing tested good no codes and all the accuators working. I did notice that the temp was set high 82F (my wife got cold and cranked it up) so I lowered the Temp back down and air started comming from the center vents can some one please explain why? I am new to the automatic climate control and can only guess it has something to due with the upper and lower temp diffrence but that is a pure guess. FYI outside temp is about 30F Thanks
