You installed the injector.. either didn't get new orings, or like you said you didn't get them seated right. It filled up with gas, because there is a lot of pressure in the fuel system. It hydrolocked your engine. I doubt the injector is bad, not that it's not possible. I am guessing it's the orings, because it's happened hundreds of times. I am hoping the hydrolocking didn't damage anything internally. Best thing to do it to go get some new orings if you didn't already, and do your best to make sure they are all seated correctly.
